Born and raised in Alberta, Nancy has always been captivated by the diverse landscapes and hidden gems of her home province. For over 20 years, she dedicated her career to showcasing Alberta's iconic beauty to the world through her work in marketing the Province.
During the pandemic Nancy discovered a new passion – painting. Inspired by the familiar landscapes she knew so well, she began translating her intimate knowledge of Alberta's unique places onto canvas. She joined Mastrius to learn to paint from mentors including Brian Buckrell, Charlie Easton, Caprice Hogg & Doug Swinton. She has taken workshops from Mike Svob, David Langevin and Mitchell Albala.
Nancy's artwork invites viewers to experience Alberta through her eyes – from the majestic peaks of the Rocky Mountains to the rolling foothills and the vast prairies. Her work aims to share the enduring power of place and the beauty that surrounds us.
